Website Care · £35/month
Hosting, security certificate, backups, daily checks that the site and its forms are working, plus unlimited small changes each month.
Website maintenance · Devon
I can keep the hosting, security, backups, monitoring and everyday updates under control, so a small change does not become another job sitting on your list.
Quiet when healthy
A website is most useful when it quietly does its job: it loads quickly, forms arrive, links work, certificates renew and the content still matches the business. You should not need to log into a builder every time a price, photo or opening hour changes.
My care plans are deliberately simple. I keep the site hosted and monitored, retain deployment backups and make small requested changes for you. If something needs attention, you have one person to contact rather than a hosting company, theme developer and plugin vendor.
The sites I build avoid a public WordPress admin area and large plugin stack, so there is less routine patching than a typical CMS setup. Care still matters: content changes, domain settings, forms and third-party services all need occasional attention.
Plans
Hosting, security certificate, backups, daily checks that the site and its forms are working, plus unlimited small changes each month.
Everything in Website Care, plus a monthly performance note, a quarterly local-search review I act on myself, Google Business Profile posts, priority turnaround and a free page or feature every year.
A Business website and Website Care together, with unlimited small changes included. £149 to start, then an initial 24-month term. After month 24, the website is yours.
Care & Grow
Visits, top pages and enquiries in plain terms, so you know what's actually working.
Every three months I look at how you show up locally and put the strongest improvement live myself, not just write it in a report.
Two posts a month, so your profile stays active even when the business is busy.
Care & Grow requests go to the front of the queue ahead of standard Website Care work.
A genuinely new page or small feature, not just an edit — normally quoted separately, included once a year on this plan.
Typical requests
Update pricing, add a new service, change a package or retire something you no longer offer.
Swap project images, add a new example, update a gallery or make a new piece of work easier to find.
Change seasonal hours, temporary notices, booking details, menus or time-sensitive information.
Refine titles, descriptions, internal links or page wording as Search Console starts showing how people find the site.
Keep enquiry routes useful as the business changes, and check that forms are still reaching the right inbox.
Larger additions are scoped separately, so routine care stays simple while the site can still grow with the business.
Why it matters for search
Google does not reward a site because someone pays for a maintenance plan. What matters is that important pages stay accessible, useful and technically sound. Broken forms, accidental noindex tags, dead links or stale service information can all undermine a good website.
Care & Grow adds a regular look at performance so useful changes can be based on real behaviour and search data rather than random redesigns, and I make the strongest change myself each quarter instead of leaving it on a list. New content should exist because customers need it or the business has something genuine to add — which is also why the plan includes one properly new page or feature a year, not just tweaks to what's already there.
Common questions
No. With a one-off website build, Website Care is optional. The standard plan rolls monthly with 30 days' notice.
Typical examples are updating wording, prices, opening hours, images, links or a simple existing section. There's no cap on how many of these you can ask for. Larger features or entirely new pages are quoted separately before I start.
Possibly. I need to review the platform, hosting and current setup first. Some third-party sites have maintenance requirements or licences that are very different from the sites I build.
For sites I host, I retain deployment backups so a known good version can be restored if a release causes a problem.
Beyond unlimited small updates, you get a monthly performance note, a quarterly local-search improvement I implement myself, two Google Business Profile posts a month, priority turnaround on requests, and one new page or feature added free each year.
No. It's scoped like a small Essentials-style addition and reviewed each plan year, so it doesn't roll up into something larger than the plan is priced for.
