Content and page audit
I identify useful pages, important search themes, existing enquiries and anything that should survive the rebuild.
Website redesign · Devon
If your website looks dated, is awkward on a phone, loads slowly or no longer reflects the business you run today, I can rebuild it without turning the move into a technical headache.
More than a new coat of paint
A useful redesign starts with the reason the existing website is underperforming. Sometimes that is visual. Often it is structural: the best services are buried, the phone experience is frustrating, the wording does not answer customer questions, or every page leads to the same vague contact form.
I review the current site, decide what is worth preserving, and rebuild around the actions you want visitors to take. The new site is custom-designed, mobile-first and set up with clear page titles, descriptions, structured information and crawlable internal links so Google can understand it properly.
If the domain already has useful search history, I plan the move carefully rather than replacing pages and hoping for the best.
What is included
I identify useful pages, important search themes, existing enquiries and anything that should survive the rebuild.
The layout, hierarchy and calls to action are designed around your business rather than squeezed into a ready-made theme.
Navigation, forms, tap-to-call actions, images and key information are designed to work properly on smaller screens.
Unique titles and descriptions, headings, canonicals, structured data, sitemap entries and Search Console setup are handled as part of launch.
Important old URLs are mapped to their most relevant new pages so customers and search engines do not hit avoidable dead ends.
Your website move is planned separately from business email so changing the site does not casually break a working inbox.
The process
You send me the current site and tell me what is not working. I look at the content, structure and technical setup.
I create a working homepage direction so you can see the proposed improvement before committing to a full build.
I build the approved site, shape the copy, prepare any redirects and give you a private preview to review.
I switch the site over, check forms and key URLs, submit the sitemap and monitor the first days after launch.
Pricing
A straightforward redesign can start with the same Essentials, Business or Growth packages as a new site. If an old site needs URL mapping, content migration or a more involved platform move, I quote that separately before work starts.
The aim is not to sell a bigger rebuild than you need. If the existing site is structurally sound and only needs focused improvements, I will say so.
Common questions
No one can guarantee rankings, but a redesign can be planned to avoid preventable losses. I preserve useful content, map important old URLs, use redirects where needed and keep Google informed through the sitemap and Search Console.
Yes. I can rebuild a site currently on Wix, WordPress, GoDaddy or another platform. The new site does not have to stay on the old platform if there is a simpler, faster setup for your business.
That is part of the migration planning. Your domain can point the website and email to different services, so I check the current DNS records before changing anything.
Usually not. Good existing information can be reused and improved. I help shape the wording so the new pages are clearer for customers and more specific about the services you want to be found for.
